I’m a writer and test prep tutor.

I’ve had an incredibly varied career path, starting in retail and warehousing, then going to law school, working in a public defender’s office, and eventually transitioning to blogging and teaching LSAT prep classes. (For anyone unfamiliar with it, the LSAT is the admissions test for law schools in the US and Canada.)

The main topics that I write about are addiction and sobriety. I’m proudly sober since 12/31/16 and cigarette-free since 9/19/19. Overcoming my addictions is one of the proudest accomplishments of my life, and I love sharing what I’ve learned with others who are struggling!

Aside from writing, some of my other big interests are drawing, reading, cooking, and learning Spanish. This year, I’ve also been having a ton of fun playing in VR.
